SANCTUAR

Pana - zborul, libertatea spiritului
ochiul /soare - clarviziunea, constiinta
spirala - încadrarea in ritmul de trecere al universului

COLOANA, cel mai vechi edificiu spiritual, asigura legatura intre Pamant si Cer, intre material si spiritual, intre om si fortele care-l tuteleaza.

THE SANCTUARY

Neither individual nor society are independent of nature and universe, but are integrated into their rhythms, each of them supposing an initiation act in a space that is favorable to its manifestation - THE SANCTUARY.

THE SUN. The solar myths and the cult of the sun are among the earliest mythological forms used to explain life, being structurally connected to the obvious sun nature of the human being. The Dacians assimilated the sun to the idea of immortality, plastically expressed by: the solar wheel, the disk, the circle (regeneration, eternal motion on a trajectory that has no beginning and no end) and the spiral (regenerative energy, universal motion energy).

THE SOLAR OVEN. The main element of the sacred space, the primordial oven (the altar) has a primarily initiating significance, determined by its two constitutive parts:
- The circular dance of souls - an ensemble symbolizing the cyclical nature of the month of the year, made up of 12 circle-disposed pieces, symbolizing the circular dance as a magical-mythical method of participating in the initiating mystery, of knowing life and the world.
- The oven, between its 24 piece, maintains the sacred fire alive as a solar gift, symbol of the souls of the "departed" (disappeared) ones.

THE MIRROR OF SOULS. A colonnade formed of 30 "soul"-pieces reflected in the transcendental glitter of the absolute conscience mirror, in which the experiences of each of us are revealed.
The component elements of the "soul"-piece and their significance:
The feather - flight, freedom of spirit
The eye / the sun - clairvoyance, conscience
The spiral - the enlistment in the passage rhythm of the universe

THE COLUMN, the oldest spiritual edifice, ensured the connection between Earth and Sky, between the material and the spiritual, between Man and the forces that govern him.

The chromatics of the entire exhibition is limited to the three sacred colors: red (life, birth), black (conscience, self-acknowledgement) and white (death, non-being).

The text is composed of folk poetry fragments, using runic characters - abstract signs of an ancient writing, spread on the territory of ancient Europe.
Initiation and sacred writing were the attributes of the privileged, their hermetism being meant to increase the aura of the initiating mystery.

…"By using a technique designed to readapt the plastic language, the artist creates a virtual plastic space in which the spectator becomes an active participant in the philosophical and esthetic senses of the proposed themes. The solar oven and the mirror of souls are just two of the ancient culture variants by which we can enchain or free ourselves in the atemporal universe".
