About Art

Art three its work is a reform instrument; it changes and improves the human condition. Getting inside this universe requires initiation, that is a constant and listing interest for the way art evolves. The contemporary work is carrying within it the accumulation of some winnings concerning both the conception and technique. So the art's means are always engaged in the new relations, but its purposes are perpetually the same: to express the existence, ideas and profound necessities of an epoch. Talking in general about art is an extremely difficult task, because it has implications of psychological, sociological, historical and aesthetic order. The art notion is therefore a conventional entity to which we attribute a different content in every time period and its reception cannot be based on a general criterion valid for all time periods. The radical expressions of this process is manifesting in our century thru renunciation to the objective transcription in favor to the preoccupation for the content the work is offering.

My step as visual artist registers very much in the textiles art sphere, a ancient domain of arts that until not log ago was considered on inferior category of art. The preoccupation s of finding the plastic expression is found in the contemporary means of expression, the main direction is the relief textile of object type, "ronde-bosse" compositions made from different textile fibers. Experimenting different types of material is the most pleasant thing for me, given somehow by, the original game coming from placing together or one above the other the textures, that generates a sensory range of expressions.
